In the last couple of days, there have been a lot of reports regarding a security vulnerability in a version of OpenSSL, commonly known as the “Heartbleed Bug”. OpenSSL is a popular software library used to help keep Internet communications private.
The security of your data is our top concern. With regards to the 'Heartbleed' vulnerability we can assure you:
1) Your accounts on our servers remains secure
2) Your account details have not been exposed in the past
3) You do not need to take any further action to safeguard your accounts
4) There is no need to change your password
You should be aware of the security of your account information and data. Portside servers do not - and have not - used OpenSSL. Therefore, your user name and password were not exposed to the OpenSSL vulnerability as you logged in to any Portside product.
